Stamford choir makes eggcellent donation to Foodbank

Local choir Stamford Sings! have donated over 75 Easter Eggs to the town Foodbank this Easter.

The collection was led by S!NGS founder and director, Brooke Peverell who came up with the idea after their successful S!NGS Santa Box campaign at Christmas.

Brooke says: "After finding out how generous our members are with our Christmas donation to the Foodbank, I came up with the idea of collecting Easter eggs as a treat for all Foodbank users this Easter."

The ladies of Stamford Sings! managed to donate more than 75 eggs to those in need.

Brooke adds: "It's so important to me to have a business that not only gives back itself, but also encourages others to give back.

"A choir should be at the centre of the local community and we are so proud that we are continuing to support the town every single day."

Stamford Sings! meet every Wednesday from 6.45pm to 8pm at Stamford Brass Rehearsal Hall.
