An Amazon van has been stolen this Christmas.

While the driver was delivering parcels, an Amazon Prime van was stolen from Market Deeping's Black Prince Avenue yesterday, Tuesday 20 December.

The driver had left it with the key in the ignition to make a quick delivery.

Sgt Emma Crisp of Stamford, Bourne and the Deepings policing team said people should not take the risk of leaving the key in a vehicle, including when defrosting cars and work vehicles parked on drives.

Anyone with information on the theft of the Amazon van and the goods inside, including doorbell or dashcam footage, should contact Lincolnshire Police phoning 101 or visiting 101 online and quoting incident 401 of December 20.
