Stamford Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature.

This week, Josh is bringing you a festive tipple to beat all festive tipples. Think the sweetness of Baileys, the festive flavour of eggnog, and a splash of coffee to keep you up and partying this Christmas.

This cocktail is great as an after dinner treat, and pairs nicely with a mince pie for those who love a sugar overdose!

Ingredients:

  • 25ml amaretto
  • 50ml Irish cream
  • 25ml coffee liqueur
  • 25ml coffee
  • nutmeg

Method:

  1. add all of your wet ingredients to a shaker with ice
  2. grate a sprinkle of nutmeg into the shaker
  3. shake until chilled
  4. strain into a tumbler - add ice if it is too strong for you
  5. garnish with a dusting of nutmeg, coffee beans or chocolate sauce

Enjoy with a mince pie!

Check back next week for another Cocktail of the Week, shared each Friday to get the weekend going.

Alternatively, take a look at last week's festive cocktail feature here.

Share your own feature by clicking the 'Nub It' button at the top of the News page.
