Despite enjoying a full weekend of royal events following the Coronation of King Charles III at Westminster Abbey on Saturday 6 May, yet more family fun is in store for Stamford residents on Monday 8 May.

This Bank Holiday Monday, Stamford Town Council are hosting their big Coronation Celebration event at Stamford Recreation Ground.

This will kick off at 12pm, following a proclamation from Stamford's Town Crier at 11am. The route of the Town Crier will be:

  1. Town Hall Steps
  2. Sheepmarket
  3. Red Lion Square
  4. High Street

The crier will end up at the Recreation Ground, where the fun will commence.

Visitors and residents can enjoy live music, entertainment, food and drinks and much more.

The event will take place from 12pm until 5pm and involve local producers, creatives and traders.

The event will champion local sellers. Image credit: Nub News.

Have a wonderful Bank Holiday weekend!
