Tonight, Thursday 17 August, The Blond Beet will be hosting a fundraising event.

Enjoy free entry to a vibrant community event set to take place in Stamford this evening in support of Stamford Diversity Group.

Stamford Diversity Group is a local organisation that aims to make Stamford and the surrounding areas an inclusive and welcoming place.

The team, headed up by Yvette Diaz-Munoz, work within the local community to provide free events and opportunities for adults and children across Stamford.

They have provided support for local Ukrainians, groups, those in need and all who wish to join their welcoming hub.

At tonight's event, there will be live music from by Archie Maclennan, poetry by Scott Coe, Adi Surridge and Emily Dickens, and short stories and other musings and cocktails from Alchemy & Apothecary.

Emily is Stamford's Poet Laureate and will be accompanied by Scott Coe, the former Laureate.

Meanwhile, Stamford-based Alchemy & Apothecary aims to deliver a premium service through a bespoke offering created in collaboration with our clients.

Owner and master mixologist, Curt, endeavours to explore the world of healthy cocktails through the use of plants, fruit, vegetables and alcohol.

The Blond Beet also work with local and fresh ingredients and is Stamford's first plant-based café, bistro and community space.

Doors open at 7pm and entry is free, although donations will be welcome to support Stamford Diversity Group CIC.
