Stamford College, Drift Road, Stamford, is set to remain closed following the Christmas holidays due to a gas leak.

Contractors are due on site today, Tuesday 3 January 2023, to tackle issues with a gas supply pipe. Meanwhile, the building has no heating or hot water.

This means that the Drift Road site will remain closed to students and staff until the problem is fixed. The college's Inspire Educational Group hope that this will be on 9 January.

Staff and students will work from home or Peterborough College, with learning details and materials being sent out today.

Borderville Sports Centre in Ryhall Road, which is part of the college, will remain open.
