Could you become an On-Call Firefighter with Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service?

An On-Call Firefighter is someone who responds to a range of fire and rescue service jobs, ranging from emergency calls, working at open days, carrying out work with their local communities and acting as an ambassador for the fire service. When they get the call, they become professional Firefighters.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue Service are holding a number of Webinars to help residents understand the role of an On-Call Firefighter and find out more about the recruitment process. 

The webinars will include a range of information about the role and how to apply:

A spokesperson for the team said: "Firefighting is a varied, rewarding and challenging role that involves far more than responding to fires. Book onto one of our webinars to find out if being an On-Call Firefighter is for you!"

The webinars will be hosted on Microsoft Teams.

Once you are booked onto the Webinar, you will receive a link 24 hours before it is due to start containing joining instructions. You can choose to either have your camera off or on during the event.

You will need to sign in using your email address and join the webinar at the time of the event. To ensure you can access the event, a test run is recommended and if any issues are experienced, contact [email protected].

Please note, attendance of the webinars is not a mandatory part of the recruitment process. You will receive your email with a link to join the online event 24 hours before it begins.
