MindSpace Stamford has a special map to help people look after their mental health.

A spokesperson for the team said: "Everything we do at MindSpace is based on the 5 ways to wellbeing as there is clear evidence that you can improve your mental health by introducing 5 simple actions into your daily life."

These 5 simple actions are:

  • Connect
  • Learn
  • Be active
  • Give
  • Take notice

The team continued: "In preparing this map our volunteers spoke to people across the Stamford community to discover how local residents engage with the 5 ways to wellbeing and what they would recommend to friends. The results have been displayed on a map that has been beautiful designed by Sam Roddan of Art Pop-Up, a Stamford-based non-profit arts organisation."

Residents are encouraged to download and share this map.

Hard copies are also available and will be on display in various places around the town.

The team concluded: "The map is free of charge but, if you can afford to, please consider making a donation to support MindSpace activities in the town. You can use the donate page on our website or you can simply scan the QR code below. Many thanks."

The Wellbeing Map of Stamford in was produced in partnership with Art Pop-Up and was funded by The National Lottery Community Fund.
