A series of summer youth workshops launch in Stamford today, Thursday 27 July.

Hosted by Stamford Diversity Group, a series of free summer workshops will be taking place in Stamford through the holidays, and the first will take place today.

Join the team for the first of their teenage workshops at Christ Church Stamford, Green Lane, Stamford from 4-5.30pm today. For those unfamiliar with Christ Church, find it opposite Bluecoats school.

Today's session will see the kids learn to rap - and enjoy some wraps, and other snacks, all free of charge.

Stamford's Poet Laureate will also be in attendance, helping kids create rhymes and develop their writing and creative skills.

The sessions will take place for a month, and include:

  • Confidence with Cake, hosted by Ben - 3 August
  • Charcoals with chocolate, hosted by Tony - 10 August
  • Bikes with bakes, hosted by Matt - 17 August

These sessions will all take place from 4pm until 5.30pm.
