SKDC to discuss environmental crime, climate action and more this week

This week, South Kesteven District Council have one scheduled public meeting.

The Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee meeting will take place on Tuesday from 10am and will concern climate action, tree planting and policy, and environmental crime.

Tuesday 14 March:

10am – South Kesteven District Council: Environment Overview and Scrutiny Committee

On the agenda is:

Announcements or updates from the Leader of the Council, Cabinet Members or the Head of Paid Service

Climate Action Strategy - The South Kesteven Climate Action Strategy sets out the Council's proposed approach to addressing carbon emissions and climate change within the district of South Kesteven.

Draft Policy on Tree Strategy - To provide an update regarding a tree strategy for South Kesteven.

Environmental Crime Partnership Update - To provide the Lincolnshire Environmental Crime Partnership Annual Report (2022), which gives an overview of the achievements of the partnership over 2022 and the future ambitions.

Work Programme 2022 – 2023 - To consider the Committee's Work Programme for 2022 – 2023.

Any other business which the Chairman, by reason of special circumstances, decides is urgent

This meeting will take place at Council Chamber, South Kesteven House, St. Peter's Hill, Grantham, NG31 6PZ.
