South Kesteven District Council have stated: "This £3,898,582 allocation from the Government's United Kingdom Shared Prosperity Fund (UKSPF) provides the opportunity to accelerate plans and build on existing priorities to support: growth and our economy, health and strong communities and a clean and sustainable environment.

"The primary goal of the UKSPF is to build pride in place and increase life chances across the UK. Underneath this overarching aim are three investment priorities: communities and place; supporting local business; and people and skills."

This is a 30 month funding allocation and the money must be invested by March 2025.
