Last weekend, Sunday 4 June, the Rutland County Show welcomed 1000s of visitors to Rutland Showground.

The annual event, which takes place in Oakham, the county town of Rutland, saw visitors of all ages flock to the vast agricultural event to enjoy rural exhibitions and displays, games, rides, animal encounters, food and drinks, a livestock auction, live music and so much more.

It is hosted by Rutland Agricultural Society, which was established in 1831 to promote agriculture in the county, and held at Rutland Showground - a venue that plays host to a range of events throughout the year, from Rutland Music Festival to grassroots football and rugby fixtures.

The 189th iteration of the Rutland County Show was sponsored by local companies, MHR and Newton Fallowell, who had the event and show rings named after them, hosting a range of rural events - from ferreting to FMX motocross bike displays and scurry racing to scent demos.
