Stamford College Music and Performing Arts students are supporting Ukraine for our end of year fundraiser.

The college and students are hosting a Party in the Car Park to raise money to support Ukraine through the Disasters Emergency Committee (DEC).

Intense conflict in Ukraine is threatening the lives and livelihoods of civilians across the country, causing millions to flee. Homes have been destroyed. Essential services have been hit. Families have been separated. People have been injured. Lives have been lost.

DEC charities and their local partners are in Ukraine and across the border in the neighbouring countries. They are working to meet the immediate needs of all people fleeing with food, water, medical assistance, protection and trauma care.

The Stamford College Music and Performing Arts department will be raising money to support the millions impacted by the conflict at their end of year concert, and have already kicked fundraising off on their JustGiving page.

How could your donations help?

£30 could provide essential hygiene supplies for three people for one month

£50 could provide blankets for 4 families to keep them warm

£100 could provide emergency food for two families for one month

The team have already begun fundraising efforts online, and aim to raise £500 on their JustGiving page, plus proceeds at their end of year concert.

Alternatively, head along to their Party in the Car Park on Thursday 8 June from 6pm.

Students go free, and guests cost only £2, with tickets available on the door.

The event will take place in the Stamford college car park, Drift Rd, Stamford.
