Stamford Heavenly Chocolates have launched a Willy-Wonka-inspired competition with Chris Warner and the team at Warner's Tradition Sweetshop.

Following the closure of their Oakham-based Mill Street shop in December 2022, Stamford Heavenly chocolates have teamed up with Warner's Traditional Sweetshop to offer a fun giveaway for both kids and adults.

Anyone who loves reading, chocolate, or both, will have read Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, an enchanting children's book by Roald Dahl. The children's classic tells the story of a young boy who is offered the opportunity to enter a secretive chocolate factory when he, against all odds, wins a lucky Golden Ticket, tucked inside a Wonka Bar.

The other 4 winners are privileged, ambitious, greedy or loud, and all had parents who threw time and money into winning - and eating - the legendary chocolate bars.

Charlie, however, is poor and lives with his parents and grandparents in a shack on the outskirts of town, but when he wins a Golden Ticket, his life could change forever...

Now, the Golden Tickets from Stamford Heavenly Chocolates and Warner's Traditional Sweetshop may not see you whisked into a world of chocolate rivers, nut-cracking squirrels and gravity defying fizz, but you might be in with the chance to win some sweet treats and goodies from the Stamford Heavenly Chocolates, Warner's Traditional Sweetshop double-act.

All you have to do to enter is to head down to the shop and buy a Wonka bar from Chris and the team, peel back the wrapping, and see if you're a winner.

This follows a range of new additions from Warner's, including a website and delivery service, handmade fudge, Rutland rock and Chris's fun new Willy Wonka outfit:
