The Christmas Tree Festival in early December also provided an impressive display.

We at Stamford Nub News asked you to vote for your favourite festive window display in Stamford, and the results of the Best Dressed Shop in Stamford Christmas Competition 2022 are in.

Stamford has a wonderful community spirit all year round, but never more so than at Christmas, when local people, retailers and businesses come together to show-off their artistic flair and spread the Christmas spirit.

Following a week of voting from enthusiastic Nub News readers, shoppers, and business owners, the results are here!

We had entries from a huge range of retailers, from tech shops and clothing retailers to hairdressers and café owners - and every single shop showed their Christmas spirit.

We had two shops come in as joint runner up...

Runner up number one, with 7 votes is:

Stamford Cheese & Deli

Stamford Cheese & Deli can be found at 16 High St, Stamford PE9 2AL.

Our other runner up, also with 7 votes is:

Sophie Allport

Sophie Allport can be found at 26-27 High St, Stamford PE9 2AY.

Finally, our winner in first place with a whopping 21 votes is:

ACR Computers

ACR Computers can be found at 57 Scotgate, Stamford PE9 2YQ.

Stamford Nub News would also like to give a shout out to The Cutting Company for their unique display featuring snowmen on swings!

Thank you to all who voted.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
