The Makings of a Murderer

Kick the weekend off early with a visit to Stamford Corn Exchange Theatre on Thursday 27 April.

Join The Scottish Detective, David Swindle, for a chilling, thrilling, night at the theatre.

True crime fans, and those with a curious mind, can explore the cases, the circumstances and the detective's perspective on what really went on, the early warning signs and the clues behind The Makings of a Murderer!

What makes a serial killer tick? What are the tell-tale signs? What really goes on behind the scenes?

Learn about the biggest British serial killers of all time – including Jack the Ripper, Peter Tobin, Harold Shipman, Peter Sutcliffe and 'Killer Couples' – Fred and Rose West and The Moors Murderers Ian Brady and Myra Hindley.

Frozen JR

The enchanting modern classic from Disney is being performed at the Stamford Arts Centre on Thursday 27 and Friday 28 April! 

Frozen JR is based on the 2018 Broadway and West End musical, and brings Elsa, Anna, and the magical land of Arendelle to life, onstage. The show features all the memorable songs from the animated film, with music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, plus five new songs written for the Broadway and West End production.

A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humour, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

Thursday 27 and Friday 28 April, with various show times.

Kevin & Perry Ibiza Party

23 Years since Kevin & Perry Go Large was released so there is only one way to celebrate it... Ibiza Party!

The event kicks off at 9am on Saturday 29 April and will go on until 2:30am, featuring the best tunes in house music. DJ Ethan Hull will be hosting an Ibiza classics set including all tunes from the hit movie.

Entry fee is only £5 and both cash and card are accepted.

Blossom Picnic

On Sunday 30 April from 11am until 3pm, Stamford Community Orchard Project are hosting a Blossom Picnic. 

This will take place at Stamford Community Orchard, Christchurch Close. 

Bring your blanket, or chair and food. Admire the blossom, buy something, including from the bar. Get your face painted, listen to music, etc.
