Bee Keeping Experience

Fancy something a little more extravagant this weekend?

Book yourself on to a bee keeping experience at Burghley House.

The sessions runs from 10am until 2pm and will see attendees join the team for a unique, up-close and personal tour.

It's a fun-filled, hands-on, day which involves a short discussion about why pollinators like the honeybee are important in your own garden or outside space and how simple it is to help.

On top of this, look at the day's jobs, which could include: building new beehives; checking the health of our bees; equipment maintenance; building wax frames; preparing to extract honey; rear queen bees; painting new hives; feeding colonies... it's always varied.
