A business launched by three mums who met at a school near Stamford is helping local schools and the Peterborough Breast Cancer Unit.

ZanyPig was created in 2018 after the mums- Vikki Youll, Lisa Chesworth and Heather Philips- met at Copthill Primary.

The online business, based in West Deeping, sells children’s toys and gifts.

Vikki, who lives in Bourne, told Nub News: "The business was started to provide parents with a trusted web site which sells inspiring tasteful and distinct gifts that children and parents will love.

"At this time of the year we would normally be busy preparing and attending our round of Christmas school fairs and larger festive events. With the recent lockdown restrictions these events cannot go ahead."

Vikki continued: "This is very disappointing as we are aware these events raise a lot of money for schools and charities.

"The Christmas fairs enable schools to buy items outside of the school curriculum. Due to this we wanted to continue to support our local schools so we came up with our shopping event at for every order placed we will donate 10% of the order value to each school when a unique code is used at check out.

"For local parents, friends and family of schools this is a way we can all continue to support each other and provide our children with needed resources for their schools. In our own little way this is about Zanypig supporting the local area and thanking people who have supported ZanyPig over the last two years. "

As three mums, the trio already supported a large fundraising event, which they attend every year, but has also been hit by the pandemic.

That event is the Ladies Charity Lunch in Peterborough for Peterborough Breast Cancer Unit, so Zanypig is also offering 10% of every order placed to go to The Peterborough Breast Cancer unit.

Vikki explained: "To support your local school, please purchase your Christmas toys and gifts from and use the code of your own local school, each order placed 10% of the order value will be given to the school.
