Man 'knocked out' as he leaves Stamford bar

A 20 year-old man was 'knocked out' as he left a Stamford bar in the early hours of Sunday morning, last weekend.

Police have launched an appeal for witnesses to the incident, which happened at Mama Liz's at 9 North Street.

The appeal from Stamford Bourne and Deeping Policing Team said: "If you were out on Saturday night / early hours of Sunday morning (25th/26th July) - did you see an assault on a 20 year old man who was knocked out in the incident?

"He was leaving the bar at the time, and lots of people were also leaving."

Those who can help can ring 101 quoting Incident 17 of the 26th of July.
