JOIN SANTA’S LITTLE HELPERS THIS CHRISTMAS
With Christmas just months away, Cards for Good Causes is looking for someone to manage the card shop in St John's church Stamford. Last year an amazing £40,000 was returned to a wide range of good causes, all down to the generosity of people in Stamford.
With the Stamford shop due to open in a few weeks time, they're looking for a well organised, big-hearted person to manage the shop through the festive season and to lead an enthusiastic and friendly team running the pop-up shop.
The shop's always buzzing with Christmas spirit, with customers old and new, and the tills ringing.
You'll need to thrive in a busy, adaptive and social setting and greet people with a smile. All abilities are welcome as everyone has training and lots of support. Thankfully the ability to drive a sleigh and to climb down chimneys in the dead of night isn't needed!
Role: Temporary (October - December), Part-time, flexible hours
Salary: £8.91 per hour
- Setting up, opening and closing the shop
- Maximising sales by managing the stock effectively
- Managing a team of volunteers and the rota
- Raising awareness in the local community
Cards for Good Causes are a not-for-profit organisation who offer the most comprehensive range of cards and gifts that directly supports the charity sector. We support over 200+ local and national charities and open pop-up shops during the festive season. Cards for Good Causes has raised over £40 million for charities across the UK in the last 10 years alone. But we couldn’t do it without the help and support of our incredible network of shop managers and volunteers.
