A tasty new business opportunity is now available in Stamford.

South Kesteven District Council is seeking expressions of interest from specialist partners to run the café at its multi-purpose Stamford Arts Centre, where thousands of people visit each year.

The café, at the front of the venue, caters for 30 covers but there are up to 30 more in a shared seating area outside the centre’s ballroom. The initial contract would be for five years.

The lease will include a contribution towards utilities and business rates, in addition to the agreed annual rent.

Stamford Arts Centre is open seven days a week and café opening hours are subject to the demands of the events programme.

A spokesperson for SKDC said: “We are looking for an ambitious partner who will seize this fantastic opportunity.

“The business is in an excellent town centre location and offers exciting opportunities for pre-show and Sunday menus, as well as daily catering for residents, shoppers, visitors, families and others using the arts centre.”
