Tune into Rutland Radio later this morning when Sarah Sewell of Stamford's Energy Clothing will be hailed the station's Hero of The Week.
Sarah is the driving force behind #Shop Stamford, a thriving campaign to support the town's independent businesses.
Sarah will feature on the local radio station at 8.35am when she will talk about the campaign and its latest initiative to support Stamford In Bloom.
#ShopStamford is also launching branded button badges for shops and other business owners and staff to wear - one design features the campaign logo and the other 'Small business Big heart' - as well as stickers to be used on items such as carrier bags and take-away coffee cups.
Both have been supplied by Stamford's Creative Design and Print.
The radio award comes just days after Stamford Nub News pledged to back #ShopStamford by providing town businesses the opportunity to promote themselves on the website.
News articles, such as an award nomination or major new product launch, can be posted on Stamford.Nub.News and these will be run in full on the website.
Smaller 'snippets' of information - like offers, sales reports, new staff appointments, seasonal menus, shop refits or new window displays - can be submitted too. These will be collated into a special weekly #ShopStamford round-up to be published on the same day every week.
News stories and snippets can both be submitted via the 'Nub It' button on the homepage of the site - it's quick and easy and there is no registration required.
What's On events can be posted via the What's On section page, again using the 'Nub It' button on there.
Anything that's published on Stamford.Nub.News can be shared as a link on social media. All posts will also be Tweeted on @StamfordNubNews.
