Benches in Red Lion Square, Stamford, are to be refurbished as part of a town council plan to smarten up the area.
Stamford Town Council also plans to relocate some of the planters to enable easier passage
through the Square.
A town council statement said two seats at a time will be removed to enable them to be repaired and refurbished.
Work is to begin anytime soon and the town council hopes for completion early in the New Year.
Over this same period, the memorial benches along Vence Walk - which crosses the Town Meadows - will also be removed two at time to be similarly refurbished.
