Stamford Nub News has joined forces with a regular reader to share a 'Cocktail of the Week' feature.
This week, Josh is bringing you a Tropical Sea Foam.
This cocktail was one that I made on a whim with no inspiration taken from one of the classics. These don't always turn out great - it's very much trial and error - but this one was a hit!
Ingredients:
- 50ml pineapple juice
- 50ml orange juice
- 25ml coconut rum
- 25ml dark rum
- 1 egg white or aqua faba from a tin of chickpeas
- drizzle in a splash of grenadine or dark fruit squash for a layer of colour - it should settle at the bottom
Method:
- add all ingredients apart from the grenadine to a shaker
- dry shake hard for 15 seconds
- add ice
- shake over ice to chill
- strain into a tumbler
- drizzle over your grenadine
