Bin collections are going ahead in South Kesteven today, Friday 10 March, despite the snow.

The South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) team said: "SKDC bin crews are out in the snow today and we're working to get your bins and bags emptied/collected on schedule.

"We're taking a little longer in the south of the district which means some areas may be delayed. If your bin is missed, check back here at the end of the day for advice on rescheduled collection.

"Thank you for your patience and understanding."
