A local green space looks set to go as the local council give notice that they are considering disposal.

South Kesteven District Council (SKDC) have given notice that it is considering a disposal of the public open space at Empingham Road Playing Field, Stamford.

The proposed use of the public open space would be for 'community use'.

The land is designated as open space within the meaning of the Local Government Act 1972, for which public notice of intended disposal must be given.
