A free Youth Workshop is set to take place this weekend, and you are invited.

As a part of the Youth Open Door project at The People of Tomorrow youth group, hosted by Stamford Diversity Group and local churches, a series of workshops and projects are going ahead to engage Stamford's youth.

Aimed for school children in year 6 and above, this week's workshop will see local children meet Stamford Poet Darren Rawnsley, and get creative.

They will create a nonsense poem and learn about the different forms, styles and spaces that poetry takes and fills.

This workshop will take place at the Unity Centre, West Street, Stamford from 6.15pm until 7.30pm this Sunday, 4th June.

You can message the team, so that they have an idea of numbers, here.

However, if you turn up on the day you will be very welcome too.
