Gareth Davies, the Conservative MP for Grantham and Stamford, has spoken in parliament this week about the food provided to military personnel.

MP Garth Davies has a long history of supporting the military personnel in his constituency, having a vocal stance surrounding the care given to serving and ex-military members and, in 2020, voting in favour of the Overseas Cooperation Bill to help 'back our vetrans from the torment of false allegations'.

In Lincolnshire, 8% of the population are veterans - the second highest population for a county in the country.

Gareth Davies said: "While it is right we are investing in some of the most advanced technology and equipment in the world for our military, we must also prioritise the wellbeing of our personnel and that means making sure the quality of their food matches the calibre of their kit. I will always stand up for the men and women who serve in our armed forces."
