A stretch of road in Stamford will be closed for resurfacing this month.

Little Casterton Road is being resurfaced this May, and roadworks and delays are expected.

Lincolnshire County Council are reportedly spending £200,000 on improving the road surface.

The closures will impact a section of the road in between Cambridge Road Casterton Road traffic lights.

Little Casterton Road will be closed and diversions will take people along Casterton Road and the road called Tolethorpe, which runs between Great Casterton and Little Casterton.

The work will take place between 8pm and 6am to limit traffic disruptions.

The work will begin on Monday 15 May 15 and is expected to finish on Saturday 20 May. Weather conditions may impact this.
