A local school has returned after the Christmas holiday period to find that a school shed has suffer a break-in over the festive period.

Barnack Pre-School, just a short drive from Stamford, has suffered a break-in to a school shed this Christmas.

While nothing has been stolen, damage has been done and they are in need of a new shed and/or security alternative.

The school released a statement: "Unfortunately our shed at Barnack Pre-School got broken into over the Christmas period. Whilst we have been lucky, nothing was stolen and is more just a storage shed for us to rotate resources.

"We are now left with a broken door and are not in a financial position to replace this currently. We were wondering if anyone would be willing to help us sort this temporarily so we can at least keep it closed to protect our equipment."

Barnack Pre-School is an Ofsted 'Good' establishment located in the village of Barnack, Stamford.

Those able to help can contact the school on their Facebook page.
