Mock the Week star heads to Stamford
A popular comedian is heading to Stamford this October.
Rosie Jones, TV personality, writer and comedian, is heading to Stamford Corn Exchange as a part of her current tour, Triple Threat.
Rosie is best known for her hit travel series' Trip Hazard and Mission: Accessible, and for numerous appearances on shows The Last Leg, 8 Out of 10 Cats, Cats Does Countdown, Hypothetical, Mock the Week, The Ranganation and Joe Lycett's Got Your Back to name just a few.
Now, the 33-year-old is on the road for a UK tour and, boy, she is excited to head to Stamford.
Join Rosie as she ponders whether she is a national treasure, a little prick, or somewhere in between. This show is guaranteed to be "full of unapologetic cheekiness, nonsensical fun and unadulterated JOY from the triple threat herself."
Rosie Jones has attracted a wide audience as a comedian with cerebral palsy, something that she incorporates into her work ad humour.
Following her graduation with a first-class degree from the University of Huddersfield, Rosie was hired for a year as a junior researcher for Objective Media Group as part of a disability scheme at Channel 4.
In January 2015, she began a screenwriting class at the National Film and Television School. Then, only one year later, she reached the final of the 2016 Funny Women Awards.
It was when she began writing for The Last Leg during their coverage of the 2016 Summer Olympics that she broke through into the world of comedy, and she has excelled since then.
She has more recently been involved in the writing of Netflix's Sex Education, which stars a Stamford-based actor.
Now, Rosie is leading her own standup tour, and is heading to Stamford on 27 October.
