A new coffee shop is launching in Stamford.

The Grounded Coffee Shop has just opened at The Stamford Arts Centre.

While grand opening details for the new coffee shop and cafe are yet to be announced, the cafe has enjoyed a 'soft opening', welcoming visitors as the team get into the swing of things in the established local venue.

Drawing on a rich heritage dating back to the 18th Century, the Stamford Arts Centre is a thriving multi-arts venue that provides the opportunity to experience and participate in a wide selection of art forms from theatre, cinema, music and poetry to sculpture, dance, painting and drawing.

Throughout the year, professional touring theatre companies, local am-dram groups and the residents Shoestring Theatre Company perform at the 166 seat theatre. The theatre also doubles up as the cinema which, over the last 28 years, has become a film hub for the local area, showing blockbusters, classics, family films and more.

The ballroom regularly hosts a range of concerts including the popular classical music season that runs from October through to May every year, as well as dances and workshops and even weddings and functions.

Finally, the Arts Centre gallery is spacious, light and airy and is free to look around, showing local art and exhibitions, including work from the local Welland Vale Art society.

The team also host regular workshops for kids and adults who wish to learn a new skill, meet friends and enjoy the enriched local culture that Stamford has to offer.

Now, the centre is welcoming a new coffee shop.
