Over 400 cannabis plants found in Stamford property

Over 400 cannabis plants have been found in a Stamford property.

Officers found the plants upon searching the home earlier this week.

Equipment has been dismantled and the plants removed.

Investigations are ongoing.

A spokesperson for the Stamford Police said: "Following information received by the Neighbourhood Policing Team this week, officers attended a property in Stamford. Over 400 cannabis plants in various stages of cultivation were discovered at the address. The plants and associated growing equipment have been destroyed, and our investigations are ongoing."
