Following a busy day of voting across the district, the results are in to see which candidates have won a seat on South Kesteven District Council.

Ballot papers began arriving at the count just after 10pm at Meres Leisure Centre in Grantham, where the count took place.

The current council is majority Conservative made up of 36 Tories, four Democratic Independents, four unaligned Independents, three AllianceSK, three Independents, three Liberal Democrats and two from the Labour and Co-operative party.

The Council had one vacant seat, which was Conservative.

The results for all but one Ward were announced by 6am on Friday 5 May.
