The Stamford Cheese & Deli shop on Stamford High Street has closed.

The venue was put up for sale in January, including all stock, fixtures and online business, with the expectation that new owners would continue the business.

The family run business was relocated from St Mary's Street prior to being moved to the High Street.

Former business owners Peter and Alex Podstolski said: “We would like to thank you so much for all those years of support and friendship.

“Our family was blessed to be able to have a shop in this beautiful town.”

However, the shop will be reopening.

The Cambridge-based trader, Rennet and Rind, has bought the business and will be refitting and opening up the shop soon.
