Stamford Community Garden Project are looking for volunteers to assist with an upcoming project.

The Stamford Community Garden Project team are planning to turn a waste plot of land at the Stamford Day Centre into a community space, but need your help.

They are looking for volunteers to support the transformation of this plot into a community garden for users to enjoy and maintain.

The space will be a place where users can go to get away from it all and just 'be' in a peaceful environment.

The ideal candidate would:

  • be passionate about nature
  • have a green thumb (or two!)
  • have a creative flair

They are also looking for individuals to help support grant applications and more on behalf of the team. These volunteers will:

  • be good with paperwork
  • have strong admin and communication skills
  • support the team applying for funding

Everyone getting involved will have a passion for supporting the local community.

The team are meeting on Wednesday 22 March 2023 at 3:30pm to discuss and formulate plans.

Find the meeting at:
