A local household are raising money this Christmas with a festive light display.

Each year, The Stamford Lights host annual Christmas and Halloween light displays synced to music at their Stamford-based home to raise money for various charities.

This year they are fundraising for Embrace Children Victims of Crime, who work with young people who have witnessed crime and "help to take away the hurt, restore some normality to young lives and reassure them that other people really do care."

They work with police officers across the UK, the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man to offer practical and emotional support, providing support for individuals who need cheering up, a friendly ear, or professional help..

The Stamford Lights team said: "This year we are raising money for Embrace CVoC who do fantastic work with children who have are victims of crime. You can donate with cash in the money box or contactless by just swiping your phone/card (you can swipe multiple times if you'd like to donate more)."

You can find this impressive display at 150 Empingham Road, Stamford, PE9 2SZ anytime between dusk and 8pm.

Alternatively, donate money to Embrace CVoC via The Stamford Lights's JustGiving page.
