The online survey for the new Stamford Transport Strategy is now live.
The survey will help Lincolnshire County Council (LCC) develop new transport strategy for Stamford to help shape the future of travel and transport over the next twenty years.
The strategy will provide a series of proposals and aspirations to achieve this. It will provide the people, businesses and other local groups in Stamford with a transport system that helps meet their daily needs now and in the future.
Users of the transport network understand which parts work well and which parts require improvement.
As such, LCC want to know peoples' ideas about what improvements could be made and what travel choices there should be in the future. We also need to gather the views of those that live, work and travel in and around Stamford. These experiences will help shape the future of transport in the area.
The survey can be completed online.
You must complete the survey by Friday 12 May to have your say.
In addition, local drop-in sessions where people can meet the project team and talk in-person are scheduled to take place at the following locations on the following dates/times:
Friday 21 April, 8:30am to 12pm - Marquee outside of Superdrug and Nationwide, High St, Stamford, PE9 2AY
Saturday 22 April, 10am to 3pm - Marquee outside of Superdrug and Nationwide, High St, Stamford, PE9 2AY
Tuesday 25 April, 10am to 6pm - Stamford Town Hall, St Mary's Hill, Stamford, PE9 2DR
Cllr Richard Davies, executive member for highways, said: "The survey for the new Stamford Transport Strategy is now live online.
"By taking ten minutes to complete the survey, you can help give us a better understanding of your experiences, views, ideas and expectations on travel and transport.
"We'll then use all the information we gather to help feed into a new transport strategy for Stamford that will include a number of proposals for improving accessibility and transport now and in the future.
"When finished next summer, this document will shape the future of travel and transport in and around Stamford over the next twenty years – so get involved and have your say."
The survey can be completed on the LCC website.
