Wellbeing workshops for employers launched for Stamford organisations
Help is at hand for local businesses and organisations keen to do more to support their staff's mental wellbeing.
In April, local charity MindSpace Stamford will be holding two half-day workshops covering topics to help employers take action to promote positive mental health in the workplace and become more effective in supporting and retaining their valued staff members.
Helen Howe, MindSpace trustee, said: "The best employers will not only be clear about how important employee wellbeing is but also the actions required to deliver it. Our workshops give the employer the best possible tools to do just that."
Developing a Wellbeing Strategy for Your Business and Challenging Conversations are the first two in a series of planned half-day workshops and will take place at Alltech in Ryhall Road, Stamford on Wednesday 12 April.
The sessions will be led by Emma Ellis and Nuala Forsey, both of whom have a wealth of experience and expertise in wellbeing coaching within local, national and global organisations, and have chosen to work with MindSpace out of a shared commitment to supporting the health of the local community.
The first workshop Building a Wellbeing Plan will focus on how to write a wellbeing strategy for organisations and most importantly, how to implement it to make real and lasting benefits for its workforce.
Challenging Conversations uses a simple model to focus on how to have better quality, more assertive interactions that can result in improved control of stress and increased coping skills.
The workshops will take place on 12 April and will run from 10am – 1pm and 2 – 5pm.
A minimum donation of £50 per space is requested to enable these workshops to continue to run. 100% of donations to MindSpace are reinvested in supporting our community's wellbeing.
Head to the MindSpace website for more information on these half-day workshops and to book.
