Stamford Funfair

A travelling funfair is returning to Stamford this week. 

The Ashley Wood Funfair rolled into town on 16 August, and will be keeping you entertained until 20 August.

The funfair promises to be bigger and better than ever before! 

Bring your family and friends along for a fun-filled day out at Stamford Recreation Ground. 

With free entry and amazing rides and games, there's something for everyone at this annual community event.

Baker's Dozen Pop Up Bar

Join the Baker's Dozen team at their Ketton brewery for some beers at the Pop Up Bar on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 August from 12pm - 6pm. 

Enjoy beers outside and in the gazebo, and enjoy the opportunity to look around the local brewery.

As You Like It

Shakespeare's As You Like It will be on at Tolethorpe Hall from June until 19 August 2023. 

Forced into exile in the Forest of Arden, lovers Rosalind and Orlando become entangled in a beguiling game of love, lust and mistaken identity. Rarely performed in his lifetime, this play has become one of Shakespeare's most accessible and enjoyable comedies.  

Reimagined as a story from the Summer of Love, As You Like It blends a feisty cross-dressing heroine with a wisecracking fool, melodic songs, questionable poetry and laughs aplenty. Will love conquer all, or is it merely a summer madness?
