'One Year On' Ukraine service

The Stamford community are invited to join a service to mark the anniversary of the invasion of Ukraine this Friday at a 'One Year On' service.

The event will take place this Friday, 24 February, at 6.30pm at Browne's Hospital, Broad Street, Stamford.

All are welcome and encouraged to show solidarity and support as the war continues.

'Wrong' Jovi Tribute Act

On Saturday 24 February, join the Stamford corn Exchange Team as they welcome 'Wrong' Jovi at 8pm.

Wrong Jovi are widely considered to be the best Bon Jovi tribute band in the world by those that see them. So much so, that even the former Bon Jovi guitarist, Richie Sambora, has personally thanked the band for their hard work and unforgettable performances. In their many years of touring, the band have performed across the world and featured on the BBC prime-time TV show, 'Even Better Than The Real Thing'. 

The hit singles, Livin' On A Prayer, Always, You Give Love A Bad Name and Wanted Dead Or Alive are joined by live favourites and rarities such as Blood On Blood, Dry County, Wild Is The Wind and This Ain't A Love Song, ensuring that a Wrong Jovi show is the ultimate tribute to New Jersey's finest stadium rock band!

Stamford Rugby vs Oakham RFC at home

On Saturday 25 March, Stamford are set to face Oakham RFC, their neighbours and friendly rivals, in one of the last matches of the season. 

Head down to the rugby club at 2:15pm to catch the clash, which looks set to be competitive.

Stamford sit above Oakham in the league, so the boys are keeping their fingers crossed for a substantial win!

Parking is free and the bar will be open. The Six Nations will be shown during and after the match.

Queen Tribute Act

Another day, another tribute act, Supersonic Queen will be gracing the Samford corn Exchange Theatre stage on Saturday 25 February.

Go back in time to experience the magic and excitement of a live Queen concert with the incredible Supersonic Queen. This 5 Piece Live Queen Tribute Band has honed their show over 10 years to become one of the most authentic sounding and looking Queen Tributes in the UK. 

Their energy, enthusiasm and on stage chemistry is mesmerising as they belt out hit after hit – It IS a "Kind of Magic"!
