RUTLAND & STAMFORD SOUND: ON STAGE

For the first time, the new local community radio station Rutland & Stamford Sound is putting on a night of entertainment to raise funds for the Corn Exchange, and for the not for profit radio station. As well as playing a broad mix of popular songs from across the decades, and the most in depth and up to date local information, Rutland & Stamford Sound is committed to supporting local music. Come along to the night, and you'll hear some of the local acts you'll hear on the radio! Already confirmed is Stamford singer-songwriter Chloe Lorentzen, along with one of the long standing Strictly singers! Hayley Sanderson lives locally, and is also in demand as a session and live singer for touring and recording. The evening will also be hosted by the Rutland & Stamford Sound team who you will tell you more about your local radio station.

About Hayley

Most people know Hayley as one of the lead vocalists on Strictly Come Dancing, however she's also generally considered to be one of the finest vocalists on the scene today as is one of the most in-demand freelance singers. Her versatility sets her apart and makes her an asset to shows and studio sessions. Hayley has also worked as a lead vocalist in her own right on projects with Nile Rogers, Narada Michael Walden, Rick Wakeman, Gilbert O' Sullivan and Trevor Horn. She also works as a vocal arranger and writer, and has worked with many well-known names, from McFly and Take That, to Cher, Barry Manilow, Sia and Jennifer Hudson. More recently Hayley has created a project for schools called 'Singsation' and has been working with Lincolnshire music service, including a day at Stamford Welland Academy involving local primary schools.

About Chloe

Chloe Lorentzen, 18 year old singer-songwriter, has played hundreds of times across the country, supporting the likes of James Walsh from Starsailor, Marti Pellow from Wet Wet Wet and Ren Harvieu. She has an impressive catalogue of self-penned songs and has been the youngest to win BBC Introducing Track Of The Week on multiple stations. Currently working with acclaimed keyboard player for The The, Chloe is working on her new album with a plan to breakthrough. You can hear Chloe's songs on Rutland & Stamford Sound too!
